Visual Identity and Poster
At the outset of any project or creative idea, artists have this inherent explosive start of ideas that eventually lead to a stroke of genius. This poster series respects the multidisciplinary nature of the 2021 BFA Senior Exhibition while highlighting the boundless possibilities that form at the beginning of the creation process.
Horizontal Version for Web and Social Media
To reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the senior exhibition, the visual identity was designed to accommodate modularity throughout the posters to allow all of the students' art mediums to be featured and accounted for.
Alternate Propositions
These were alternate ideas that were explored during the initial concept phase. They explore themes of reversing the hierarchical relationship between participants and exhibition, movement into the unknown, and the brutalist architecture that the students spent years inhabiting, respectively.
Initial Sketches
After initial concept brainstorming, some sketches were created to guide the visual exploration. Some were tossed, but some trickled their way through the final system design.
